Aloha vs. Mesa
Aloha vs. Mesa September 22nd, 2008 by Rick The question of who’s to blame for the collapse of Aloha Airlines won’t be decided until this spring. Aloha’s anti-trust lawsuit against Mesa Air Group and go! airline was originally scheduled to be heard next month but has been pushed back to April. Based on the findings in federal court, it doesn’t look like there’s been a lot of discovery conducted in the case. However, the mountains of evidence presented in Hawaiian Airline’s lawsuit against M
Boeing 767's 18-minute Islands hop marks Hawaii changes
We were chatting the other day with Mark Dunkerley, the suave Brit who's now a Hawaiian. After quite a few years at British Airways, Mark took over Hawaiian Airlines a few years back and last we saw him, had sort of gone native, or at least Tommy Bahama with those neat shirts they wear out there. Banmiller update
Banmiller update July 1st, 2008 by Rick Call it a quick rebound. Former Aloha Airlines Chief Executive Officer David Banmiller is rumored to be the next CEO of Air Jamaica. Last Friday, he turned down bonuses of up to $600,000 for former CEO David Banmiller and chief financial officer Jeffrey Kessler for helping to sell off what’s left of the company, which the bankruptcy trustee tried to sell as “fair.” “I don
Hawaii Superferry Now Super Cool?
Remember last year when the Hawaii Superferry first set sail and caused so many complaints and confrontations between residents of Oahu, Kauai and Maui? Well now it seems that slowly those days are being forgotten and now the Superferry is becoming used more and more, at least by those going between Oahu and Maui, to travel interisland. Maybe it’s the sudden shutdown of Aloha Airlines or perhaps the continued increase in Hawaiian Airlines fares that is causing the new interest in the once shun

aloha airlines travel agent We’d all like to travel more often. There are so many interesting and exciting places to visit and today’s airline system makes it so easy to see every corner of the world. Who wouldn’t like to fly to foreign countries, visit fascinating and exotic locales, take romantic getaways, have more exciting family vacations, or just “get away from it all” for a few days? Unfortunately, most of us spend more time sitting on the couch watching television than we do globe-t
