Emma Crosby To Replace Fiona Phillips
Emma Crosby, the Sky News business presenter will be replacing Fiona Phillips on the GMTV sofa in the New Year. Emma helped Sky win a Bafta by anchoring coverage of last year’s attack on Glasgow airport. Having bagged a £250,000 salary, Emma has unsurprisingly said, “I am very excited to be joining Britain’s leading breakfast programme and working alongside Kate [Garraway], who is a great talent.” Congratualtions….here’s to getting up and ready at 3am!

Emma Watson is Ice Rink Queen!
Emma Watson has been under the radar for some time now but she's popped up at the VIP opening night for Somerset House Ice Rink in London on Tuesday. Emma looked superb in a cute polka dot dress and a red scarf. She put on those skates and took a whirl on the ice. She even helped a few kids and took photos with them. We'll see Emma next in the upcoming Harry Potter movie which is set of a July 2009 release.

Desperate times calls for selective memory
This has been on my calendar for a while. Emma, as you no doubt are aware, is the hugest Pixar fan ever.She’s been counting down to the Wall-E DVD release for quite a while. Probably since we saw it at the movie theatre. So she has been looking forward to the day she could go to the store and get Mom or Dad to buy it for her as soon as humanly possible. And, just between you and me and the entire internet, I pre-ordered it from Amazon. Not the single-disk version, not even a 2 disc set, but
