The Cessna 172M

The Cessna 172M was manufactured from 1973 to 1976 and featured a drooping wing that allowed for better low speed handling. Cessna called this new wing design the Camber-Lift Wing. The Cessna 172 M included an optional second nav/comm radio package as well as an ADF and transponder. Another enhancement was the increased baggage compartment. Some other features were made available including nose mounted dual landing lights.
