YouTube Layouts For Aviation
Aviation related blogs are becoming more and more popular. I also have noticed that the number of aviation related videos available on YouTube have increased dramatically. This means that there are more and more airplane and aviation related blogs that are including embedded YouTube videos in their posts. Once thing that I notice right away about embedded YouTube videos is the fact that they all look the same. They all have the same standard format and look plain. I decided to step things up and create a way to style and spice up the YouTube videos that you can display on your blog. I have created something I call, YouTube Layouts. By using my special YouTube Layouts, you can show off all your favorite YouTube videos on your blog, but also show them off with a unique and creative style, both adding a huge service to your blog readers. Here is an example below:
If you would like to view a selection of YouTube Layouts for your blog, please visit my YouTube Layouts Home Page. If you would like to learn more about YouTube Layouts and read my press release please visit here.

Yes, I have a few more, you can see them here:

basically, the process is fairly easy but time consuming to set up. I find a graphic on the Internet that looks cool and something where i know I can squeeze a YouTube video in, and then with coding I plug in the coordinates and dimensions of the YouTube video and how I want it displayed on top of the graphic.
I don’t remember what kind of plane you own, but lets just say its a Cessna Citation. If you were to take a picture of your cockpit, make sure it was totally symmetrical and even, I could probably then search YouTube for a flight sim video and photoshop OUT your windshield with a green or black screen and superimpose a YouTube video over it.
Its pretty wild and I love doing it… a little bit of work, but once its done… its done!

I’m not a coder though, so I’m wondering how you’re doing it. I’m thinking the ‘transparent’ part of the html has something to do with it. Anyway, cool idea.
